HIV Prevention Drug PrEP Hires DaBaby as New Spokesman

Rapper DaBaby has turned the heat up on the pot of boiling water he dove into after comments he made about certain gays while on stage at the Rolling Loud festival.  The infamous speech was as follows: “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in 2, 3 weeks put your cell phone light up.”  Now this may seem entirely random and out of place for a hip-hop concert and for this day in age where HIV and AIDS seems to be a thing of the past, or at least not the foremost contraction on the world’s mind.  However, through some journalistic digging, we found an informant in DaBaby’s camp who informed us that this oration is a trick he uses to find all of the individuals at his shows without STDs so he can know exactly who to invite backstage with him, without the risk of obtaining one of these ailments.  A pretty slick technique, but not something you would like to have broadcasted to the world, especially if they don’t know your debaucherous motives behind it.

DaBaby was met with backlash almost instantly, even from his hit making collaborator Dua Lipa who claims she was horrified at DaBaby’s take on homosexuals, their lifestyle, and his crude rhetoric.  “He is usually so refined, eloquent, and worldly.  I could aways rely on him to give me an educated and sympathetic view of any situation.  This is by no means the DaBaby I know.”  Dua Lipa said as we handed her a tissue to ward off the tears welling up inside of her duayelids.  DaBaby decided to take action and post a clarifying video the next day to let his fans and everyone know what he really meant to illustrate.  DaBaby made strong points by saying “I’m the best live performer, this is what we do,”  “I would never have a gay fan with AIDS so it doesn’t matter,” “my music doesn’t attract the nasty gays,” and “even my gay fans have standards”.

The issue that DaBaby is not fully grasping is that his comments are borne in ignorance as many HIV positive individuals are living long, healthy lives and with his comments he has the propensity to further the stigma attached to the once deadly virus.  But there is a silver lining for DaBaby.  PrEP, the HIV prevention drug has decided to make DaBaby the face of their new marketing campaign.  The ad will reportedly feature “nasty gays” who are not taking PrEP and DaBaby approved gays who “have standards”.  The ad is not expected to live long as people are already signing up to be outraged.  DaBaby’s cancellation sentencing is set to be 1 year at HIV/AIDS school.
