Emile’s Ticket

Emile Hernandez, a simple man had one goal his entire life. Be the first Latino-American born in America and raised in Latin, then moved back to America, to years later vacation in Poland, and finally settle in Staten Island to open up his very own business. His father had once tried, but a pack of domesticated dogs continually persuaded him otherwise. On his death bed, Emile’s father expressed his regret to his son while the dogs glared. “You must do what you know in you heart is right.” And Emile did.

The next few years were far from easy, but impassioned. Emile had his heart set north and nothing would hold him back. 17,000 ounces of blood sweat and tears (which reside behind the register) later Emile opened his establishment.

Missing Stitching it’s called and I still cannot believe Emile is the first person to conceive of this idea. He is sure to become a millionaire. The idea was simple. You know all of those socks that go missing in the dryer? Or maybe your left sock got a hole in it, but the right still walks fine? Well come on down to missing stitches and buy one of Emile’s solo socks! It’s true. In all colors, styles, sizes, and designers, Emile has accumulated singular socks for you to come in and complete your once married pairs of socks.

The line was around the block as Emile puts so much emphasis on customer service. “I only let one customer in the store at a time, they get all of my attention.” Mothers are not exempt from this rule and will gladly leave their infants in the care of the customer behind them to get their sock.

Emile’s store has been open for one day and if these past few hours have been any indication he will be open for days to come.
